If you were unable to attend the AGE Virginia Awards, it is not too late to contribute toward student scholarships and the Department of Gerontology's Endowed Professorship Campaign. In order to aggressively compete with Tier One schools, the VCU Department of Gerontology must be able to offer an increasing number of competitive scholarships for prospective students. In addition, to retain its position as one of the top Departments of Gerontology in the country, funds are necessary to support existing faculty positions. The funds received not only allow for increased student scholarships, but also for an increased number of community engagement activities and educational conferences that might otherwise be financially prohibitive. Our current and future generations of Gerontologists need your support!
For more information on donation options, please contact the VCU Department of Gerontology at 804-828-1565 or by emailing [email protected]. To make an online donation now, please click here.
Thank you ALL for your continued hard work as we work toward our mission of Improving Eldercare through Education.
