Meet the Judges for the Aging2.0 Pitch Event

RICHMOND -- The Greater Richmond Age Wave's Business for Life Work Group / Aging2.0 Chapter is excited to announce our expert panel of judges for the upcoming Aging2.0 Expo and Pitch Event on Sept. 30.

Meet the judges:
Dr. James Lesnick is Senior Vice President for Business and Venture Development for Riverside Health System. Prior to this role, he served as Medical Director of Riverside Medical Group and was a practicing neurosurgeon for many years in our communities helping Riverside become a nationally recognized leader in neuroscience clinical care.
 
Marilyn West is the owner and Chairman/CEO of M. H. West & Co., Inc., where she advises and consults on matters involving operations, development, structure, regulations and strategy. Has over thirty-five years of experience working with CEOs, executive management and governance of public and private sector businesses including corporations, medical care facilities, health care systems, federal, state and local governmental agencies, law firms and professional and trade associations.
 
Dr. James Cotter is a professor in the Department of Gerontology and for the School of Allied Health Professions in the PhD in Health-Related Sciences Program. He has developed programs and services for older persons at the local, regional, and state levels. He has served as Director for Programs at the Virginia Department for the Aging and as Assistant Director at the Area Agency on Aging in Southeastern Virginia.
 
Henry Simmons, PhD. has been part of the Greater Richmond Age Wave Readiness Coalition since the beginning, and worked on the Age Wave Planning Project -- "Age Wave Prepared Communities are Stable, Well, Engaged and Livable." A charter fellow of the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education and an ordained minister, he has taught spirituality, adult education, adult development, ministry with older adults, and congregational analysis for more than 30 years.

Join us as we close out Active Aging Week at the Aging2.0 Expo & Pitch event, and learn more about local innovations in aging.
