· Premiere of Greater Richmond Age Waves’ Aging for Life video
This June, in sync with last month’s celebration, RVA’s first Friday will include an Arts Exhibition at the Visual Arts Center, featuring creations of older adults in their Studio S program. In addition, there will be a screening and panel discussion of Aging for Life. This video represents a culmination of leading aging voices, resources and providers in our region and showcases an array of community engagement opportunities, and wisdoms to promote healthy, autonomous aging across generations. Following the video, there will be a facilitated panel discussion with individuals that participated in this new production. Panelists will share their secrets to remaining active and connected to our community. They will also inspire us to consider the myriad of activities available to Richmonders and why we can continue to be one of the best places in the country to live, thrive and age. Please come join us!
