Elders Are Our Superheroes

Picture
Students at William F. Fox Elementary School, located in the City of Richmond, completed an art assignment that illustrates the value of older people and grandparents in our communities by examining their talents- as superheroes. To see the art show visit our Flickr page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/agewave/

The 2016-2017 collection includes 30 art pieces and is now available for organizations to host.  Exhibit hosts have provided receptions for the artists and their families, featured the artwork at health fairs and other special events-- wonderful opportunities all, to spotlight our young artists, our elders, and this inspiring program. The color works and stories are both beautiful and uplifting. If your organization is interested in hosting the Elders Are Our Superheroes Art Show, please contact Karen Moeller, karen.moeller@agewellva.com or (804)828-1565.
